I read a quote the other day that said something like this, "If you want to tell your son how to live, tell him, "You are the architect of your own destiny. That whatever you find to do in life, if you want to succeed, it will take persistence, dedication, and a fighting spirit."
I think this applies to everybody reading this. Nobody in this life who ever achieved any kind of greatness or invented any kind of new technology or saved any number of peoples' lives ever allowed themselves to fall into halfheartedness.
Anything in this life we are aiming for or trying to achieve cannot be accomplished without a persistent spirit and dedication.
You are the "architect of your own destiny". What are you trying to achieve? What is your next level in life?
We all have a next level to go to whether it is a new physical, social, academic, work-related, or health related. We each can better ourselves.
I encourage you to devote yourself to constructing your destiny with excellence, persistence.
Be in unity with others who will support you and influence you positively in your journey to constuct your destiny.
Maybe you have no clue where to begin or maybe you feel utterly hopeless, like there is nothing you can do to improve your destiny. God's Word says in Romans 10:38 says, "{For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor thiany creature shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord."
Maybe you are seperated from the love of Christ. I encourage you to act now! Romans 10:13 says, "Whosoever shall call on Him, shall be saved." Romans 10:9 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that Christ has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Act now. I can't tell you enough how short the time is, before Christ comes back for His followers. You are hopeless in your sin. You can accept Christ's gift. That quote is so true. It is in a way like one of Abe Lincolns quotes "In the end, its not the years in your life that count. Its thee life in your years."
ReplyDeleteWe have the choice, we have free will to choose what we are going to do with our lives and we might as well make it worth while.
We only have one life on earth, we might as well live it to the glory of God and as a light to the darkness in the world.
