"The Power of Words"; A response to the Connecticut shootings

Proverbs 18:21 says, "Life and Death are in the Power of the Tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it, [for death or to life].

The Words we say can either completely ruin someone's day or they can completely brighten somebody's day. I cannot begin to tell you how many times someone has spoken a kind word to me which has completely transformed my day. I remember when I was still in a wheelchair and my pastor told me, "You WILL run again; it's in your name, Will".Those words motivated me for years after that and still do, although six years ago, I was able to run again.  I've also heard hurtful words which I have had to really work through to forgive. This happens on almost a weekly basis.
Then, I will hear words on the news which will frighten me. The words of the reporters that the mayan calendar predicts the world will end on December 21,2012 really kinda scared me when I first heard them. But after I researched the topic a little more and heard encouraging and hopeful words from other experts, my fears subsided.

I want you guys to imagine how much built up anger this young man must have had. Imagine all the times he had been hurt or formed bitterness out of anger, but he had never processed through any of them. I can only imagine how many people had spoken harsh words (what Proverbs calls words of death) and this angry twenty year old had simply allowed himself to grow more and more bitter.

Now I want you to imaginse for a second, what if some friend, counselor, or anyone had spoken uplifting or encouraging words to that troubled young man. Imagine if some body had simply?"

Imagine if someone simply would have taken the time to talk to the angry young man and shown him he was cared for; the 27 lives might have been spared. The young man might have changed his mind and realized that other people in this world do care about him.

I challenge you today; look for those people in your life you can bless. Look for the ones you can brighten their day. You never know how you could change someone's day. You can speak life or you can speak death.       I challenge you to speak life to as many as you can find. Who knows whose life you might save.

Maybe, you are devastated from these shootings. I know I was. Maybe you feel you have lost all hope, and life will never be the same. Maybe yu feel like you have nothing to live for any longer. You may have been directly affected by the shootings. The shootings were truly a tragic thing. God weeps that those innocent children were murdered and He weeps for the families who lost the precious loved ones of their families. But I serve a risen Savior who came to heal those emotinal woundings. His name is Jesus Christ. Luke 4:18 says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me [The anointed one, the Messiah] to preach the good news [the gospel] to the poor; He has sent me to anounce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity,].

Christ came to heal your heart. He came to heal every hurt you have and forgive every sin you have committed. He came to save you. Romans 10:9 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:13 says, "For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

I challenge you today; Respond to the call of Christ's free gift of salvation. Believe in Him and you will be saved.

"Climbing to the next Level". It's a term many of us have heard at one point or another. It might e voke warm fuzzy feelings or it might make us feel envigorated to want to succeed or go run a 5 k or something. For many of us, we hear the phrase and think, "Man, if I could only go to the next level in my job, or if I could only go to the next level in my marriage or become the fastest marathon runner." We think of all these "if then" statements. Some of us may not be able to do very much at all so our level might be being able to walk without a cane or walker or maybe to get out of bed on your own. However, whether anyone realizes it or not, everyone reading this is trying to get to the next level of something in their lives. We all have a longing to become better at whatever it is we find to do. We want to become the kind of people that others will be drawn to or will want to be around. Yet for many of you reading this, you fight and fight, push and push, and strive to be that "ideal" person you think everyone will want or desire. You may be trying to fit the perfect mold you think the perfect guy or girl will want.  If this sounds like you, I have good news for you.

I have a Savior, Jesus Christ who unconditionally accepts me no matter what I  do wrong. His love for His children is limitless. Nothing is able to seperate us from His love. Many, including myself have found their fulfillment and identity in Him so, despite the opininlos of others, nothing will convince me nor my brothers and sisters that our Savior and Father has unconditional and never ending love and acceptance for His children.

Does this make you wonder, "Wow I wonder how I can experience this love? How can this all powerful being become my Father and Savior as He is to so many people. Why can't I experience this peace, fullfillment, and fulfillment which the Savior Jesus Christ gives to His children?"

All you need to do is believe in Him, and what He did for you.Surrender your life to Him. Commit your life to Him. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and live for Him.

C.S. Lewis claimed that the fact that we have a moral sense of right and wrong is a direct indication that There is an Almighty God who created us with convictions, beliefs, a sense of right and wrong, and the multitude of human emotions/feelings which evolution cannot account for. Jesus Christ is the only Deity who died and rose again. All other religions have suppossed "deities" who have all died and no longer have power and are non-existant in the lives of those individuals who put faith in them.   The God of Christianity is the only Being who will give vision, purpose, and extends  His love is what motivated the first pilgrims to sail across the Atlantic to found the Great Nation of America. The Love of God compelled the founders of America to establish America as "One nation under God." The Love of God is what compells Samaritans Purse to be the first organization to provide relief to many natural disasters. His love compells us and will give you a Vision for your life.

Many people have no vision for their lives. In the Bible, Jeremiah 1:4-5, God tells Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." In the book of 2 Timothy, the Apostle Paul exhorts us, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind."

The Point is this; God has given His children the gift of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. HIs love has given countless individuals so much vision and purpose.

I have found this vision. I might have been through some pretty Intense trials in my life, yet I know God's plan for my life still holds true. His love still follows me daily. Walking in the love of God is so real, and so much more fulfilling than anything else this life offers. MY vision compells me to write this blog, study in college, and speak to as many individuals as I can of God's love and purpose for their lives.

How about you? Do you have Purpose? Do you have vision? Do you feel like anybody truly cares about you and loves you or has a genuine interest in your life?

Surrender to Christ. In Romans, Paul claims, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

He will save you from whatever trial you are facing lin life right now. He will save you and give you a purpose in life. Christ and He will save you and give you a brand new life.

Evidence of a life of purpose

We know life has a higher purpose. We know its impossible that the complexities of the human and the billions of other living creatures simply evolved. Leading atheists are now claiming that intelligent design is the only answer for the origin of the universe. Ernst Chain, a world famous biochemist has claimed that the universe is composed of do many complexities, which are  unexplainable and cannot be understood under the lens of the evolutionary theory.  He claims that only an awesome  God can explain the universe's origin. Further,  more renowned scholars, scientists, and the like have made claimed that the universe hold's far too many mysteries which cannot be explained by evolution. Take these for example: "mythology of its own: namely, the assumption that what, after long effort, could not be proved to take place today had, in truth, taken place in the primeval past.’ — Loren Eiseley, Ph.D. (Anthropology)
  • SO, IS EVOLUTION SCIENTIFIC? ‘In fact, evolution became in a sense a scientific religion; almost all scientists have accepted it and many more are prepared to ‘bend’ their observations to fit in with it.’ — H.S. Lipson, FRS
  • DOES THE EVIDENCE SHOW RANDOM CHANCE OR INTELLIGENT DESIGN? ‘The more statistically improbable a thing is, the less can we believe that it just happened by blind chance. Superficially the obvious alternative to chance is an intelligent Designer.’ — Dr. Richard Dawkins (Department of Zoology, Oxford University, UK)
  • CAN EVOLUTION BE OBSERVED? ‘Evolution, at least in the sense that Darwin speaks of it, cannot be detected within the lifetime of a single observer.’ — David B. Kitts, Ph.D.
  • ‘But let us have no illusions. If today we look into the situations where the analogy with the life sciences is the most striking – even if we discovered within biological systems some operation distant from the equilibrium – our research would still leave us quite unable to grasp the extreme complexity of the simplest of organisms…’ — Ilya Prigogine (Professor and Director of the Physics Department, Universite Libre de Bruxelles)
  • “I know of no finding in archeology that has properly confirmed which is in opposition to the Scriptures. The Bible is the most accurate history textbook the world has ever seen.” — Dr. Clifford Wilson, former director of the Australian Institute of Archeology
  • "[The evidence is] pointing against the cosmological constant, but it’s a first result describing how dark energy changes with time. We need more people to test the results and get more information. As you go back in time, the universe is pushing [outward] less and less. At some point, the pressure of dark energy is zero and is exerting no force on the universe. There is no explanation for it.” — Louisiana State University astronomer Bradley E. Schaefer
  • ‘And in Man is a three-pound brain which, as far as we know, is the most complex and orderly arrangement of matter in the universe.’ — Dr. Isaac Asimov
  • “Biologists would dearly like to know how modern apes, modern humans and the various ancestral hominids have evolved from a common ancestor. Unfortunately, the fossil record is somewhat incomplete as far as the hominids are concerned, and it is all but blank for the apes. The best we can hope for is that more fossils will be found over the next few years which will fill the present gaps in the evidence.’ The author goes on to say: ‘David Pilbeam [a well-known expert in human evolution] comments wryly, “If you brought in a smart scientist from another discipline and showed him the meagre evidence we’ve got he’d surely say, ‘forget it: there isn’t enough to go on’.” — Richard E. Leakey
  • What did Darwin achieve? ‘His theory had, in essence, preceded his knowledge – that is, he had hit upon a novel and evocative theory of evolution with limited knowledge at hand to satisfy either himself or others that the theory was true. He could neither accept it himself nor prove it to others. He simply did not know enough concerning the several natural history fields upon which his theory would have to be based.’ — Dr. Barry Gale (Science Historian, Darwin College, UK)
  • CAN IT BE TESTED? ‘These evolutionary happenings are unique, unrepeatable, and irreversible. It is as impossible to turn a land vertebrate into a fish as it is to effect the reverse transformation. The applicability of the experimental method to the study of such unique historical processes is severely restricted before all else by the time intervals involved, which far exceed the lifetime of any human experimenter. And yet, it is just such impossibility that is demanded by antievolutionists when they ask for “proofs” of evolution which they would magnanimously accept as satisfactory.’ — Theodosius Dobzhansky (late Emeritus Professor of Zoology and Biology, Rockefeller University)
  • ‘Once we see, however, that the probability of life originating at random is so utterly minuscule as to make the random concept absurd, it becomes sensible to think that the favorable properties of physics on which life depends are in every respect deliberate... It is therefore almost inevitable that our own measure of intelligence must reflect in a valid way the higher intelligences to our left, even to the extreme idealized limit of God.’ — Sir Fred Hoyle (English astronomer, Professor of Astronomy at Cambridge University) and Chandra Wickramasinghe (Professor of Astronomy and Applied Mathematics at University College, Cardiff)
  • DO THE FACTS PROVE EVOLUTION? Darwin said: ‘For I am well aware that scarcely a single point is discussed in this volume on which facts cannot be adduced, often apparently leading to conclusions directly opposite to those at which I have arrived. A fair result can be obtained only by fully stating and balancing the facts and arguments on both sides of each question; and this is here impossible.’ — Charles Darwin
  • “Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such an hypothesis is excluded from science because it is not naturalistic.” — S.C. Todd
  • “The interpretation of evolution is in a state of upheaval: the rapid advancement of Molecular Biology has led into question many of the tenets of Darwinism and neo-Darwinism which, although valuable approaches at the time they were formulated, never fulfilled the criteria demanded by real scientific theories… In the author’s opinion, no real theory of evolution can be formulated at present.” — A. Lima-de Faria
  • Even creation ex nihilo? ‘In 1973, I proposed that our Universe had been created spontaneously from nothing (ex nihilo), as a result of established principles of physics. This proposal variously struck people as preposterous, enchanting, or both. The novelty of a scientific theory of creation ex nihilo is readily apparent, for science has long taught us that one cannot make something from nothing.’ — Edward P. Tryon (Professor of physics, City University of New York, USA)
  • ‘Darwin’s theory of natural selection has always been closely linked to evidence from fossils, and probably most people assume that fossils provide a very important part of the general argument that is made in favor of Darwinian interpretations of the history of life. Unfortunately, this is not strictly true.’ — Dr. David M. Raup (Curator of Geology, Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago)
  • ‘Darwin’s book – On the Origin of Species – I find quite unsatisfactory: It says nothing about the origin of species; it is written very tentatively, with a special chapter on “Difficulties on theory”; and it includes a great deal of discussion on why evidence for natural selection does not exist in the fossil record… As a scientist, I am not happy with these ideas. But I find it distasteful for scientists to reject a theory because it dies not fit in with their preconceived ideas.’ — H. Lipson, FRS
  • Has anything changed? ‘I know that, at least in paleoanthropology, data are still so space that the theory heavily influences interpretations. Theories, have, in the past, clearly reflected our current ideologies instead of the actual data.’ — Dr David Pilbeam (Physical Anthropologist, Yale University, USA)
  • ‘There was little doubt that the star intellectual turn of last week’s British Association for the Advancement of Science meeting in Salford was Dr. John Durant, a youthful lecturer from University College Swansea. Giving the Darwin lecture to one of the biggest audiences of the last week, Durant put forward an audacious theory – that Darwin’s evolutionary explanation of the origins of man has been transformed into a modern myth, to the detriment of science and social progress… Durant concludes that the secular myths of evolution have had “a damaging effect on scientific research”, leading to “distortion, to needless controversy, and to the gross misuse of science”.’ — New Scientist journal
  • DO THE FOSSILS PROVE EVOLUTION? What Darwin said in the 1850’s: ‘Why then is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against the theory. The explanation lies, as I believe, in the extreme imperfection of the geological record.’ — Charles Darwin
  • “It is futile to pretend to the public that we understand how an amoeba evolved into a man, when we cannot tell our students how a human egg produces a skin cell or a brain cell!" — Dr. Jérôme J. Lejeune, discoverer of the cause of Down’s syndrome, L'Institute de Progenese (Paris), formerly Professor of Fundamental Cytogenetics
  • SUPPORT THIS SITE! Help spread knowledge and understanding about what science really knows about evolution and intelligent design. Contribute!"
  • ‘Well, we are now about 120 years after Darwin and the knowledge of the fossil record has been greatly expanded. We now have a quarter of a million fossil species but the situation hasn’t changed much. The record of evolution is still surprisingly jerky and, ironically, we have even fewer examples of evolutionary transition than we had in Darwin’s time. By this I mean that some of the classic cases of Darwinian change in the fossil record, such as the evolution of the horse in North America, have had to be discarded or modified as a result of more detailed information – what appeared to be a nice simple progression when relatively few data were available now appears to be much more complex and much less gradualistic. So Darwin’s problem has not been alleviated in the last 120 years and we still have a record which does show change but one that can hardly be looked upon as the most reasonable consequence as those of the dinosaurs and trilobites are still very puzzling.’ — Dr. David M. Raup (Curator of Geology, Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago)
  • “Big bang cosmology is probably as widely believed as has been any theory of the universe in the history of Western civilization. It rests, however, on many untested, and in some cases untestable, assumptions. Indeed, big bang cosmology has become a bandwagon of thought that reflects faith as much as objective truth.” — Geoffrey R. Burbidge
  • ‘This notion of species as “natural kinds” fits splendidly with creationist tenets of a pre-Darwinian age. Louis Agassiz even argued that species are God’s individual thoughts, made incarnate so that we might perceive both His majesty and His message. Species, Agassiz wrote, are “instituted by the Divine Intelligence as the categories of his mode of thinking.” But how could a division of the organic world into discrete entities be justified by an evolutionary theory that proclaimed ceaseless change as the fundamental fact of nature?’ — Stephen John Gould (Professor of Geology and Paleontology, Harvard University)
  • ‘Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story that they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact.’ — Dr. T.N.Tahmisian (Atomic Energy Commission, USA)
  • What do the facts say? ‘Now and then a scientist stumbles across a fact that seems to solve one of the great mysteries of science overnight. Such unexpected discoveries are rare. When they occur, the scientific community gets very excited. But excitement is not the best barometer of scientific validity. Science, said Adam Smith, should be “the great antidote to the poison of enthusiasm.” The case of the disappearing dinosaurs is a fascinating demonstration that science is not based on facts alone. The interpretation of the facts is even more important.’ — Robert Jastrow, Ph.D.
  • “For use in understanding the evolution of vertebrate flight, the early record of pterosaurs and bats is disappointing: Their most primitive representatives are fully transformed as capable fliers.” — Paul C. Sereno
  • “Despite many claims to the contrary, life does not begin at conception: It is an unbroken chain that stretches back nearly to the origin of the Earth, 4.6 billion years ago. Nor does human life begin at conception: it is an unbroken chain dating back to the origin of our species, tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago. Every human sperm and egg is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, alive. They are not human beings of course. However it could be argued that neither is a fertilized egg.” — Carl Sagan
  • “I can envision observations and experiments that would disprove any evolutionary theory I know.” — Stephen Jay Gould
  • WHAT'S NEW: This site offers information and insight—much of it from respected scholars—about inaccuracies in evolutionary theory."
  • CAN IT BE TESTED? ‘It is easy enough to make up stories of how one form gave rise to another, and to find reasons why the stages should be favoured by natural selection. But such stories are not part of science, for there is no way of putting them to the test.’ — Luther D. Sunderland
  • WELCOME! EvolutionTheLie.com is the world's preeminent voice for promoting scientific fact about unproven evolutionary theory."
  • Darwin said before his book "Origin of Species" was published: ‘You will be greatly disappointed (by the forthcoming book); it will be grievously too hypothetical. It will very likely be of no other service than collecting some facts; though I myself think I see my way approximately on the origin of the species. But, alas, how frequent, how almost universal it is in an author to persuade himself of the truth of his own dogmas.’ — Charles Darwin
  • To the philosophers? ‘I myself am convinced that the theory of evolution, especially the extent to which it’s been applied, will be one of the great jokes in the history of books of the future. Posterity will marvel that so very flimsy and dubious an hypothesis could be accepted with the incredible credulity that it has.’ — Malcolm Muggeridge (world famous journalist and philosopher)
  • IS IT A FACT? OR A FAITH? ‘The fact of evolution is the backbone of biology, and biology is thus in the peculiar position of being a science founded on an unproved theory -- it is then a science or a faith? Belief in the theory of evolution is thus exactly parallel to belief in special creation -- both are concepts which believers know to be true but neither, up to the present, has been capable of proof.’ — L. Harrison Matthews, FRS
  • CAN IT BE TESTED? 'Our theory of evolution has become, as Popper described, on which cannot be refuted by any possible observations. Every conceivable observation can be fitted into it. It is thru “outside of empirical science” but not necessarily false. No one can think of ways in which to test it. Ideas, either without basis or based on a few laboratory experiments carried out in extremely simplified systems, have attained currency far beyond their validity. They have become part of an evolutionary dogma accepted by most of us as part of our training.' — Paul Ehrlich (Professor of Biology, Stanford University) and L. Charles Birch (Professor of Biology, University of Sydney)
  • ‘If living matter is not, then, caused by the interplay of atoms, natural forces and radiation, how has it come into being? There is another theory, now quite out of favour which is based upon the ideas of Larark: that is an organism needs an improvement it will develop it, and transmit it to its progeny. I think, however, that we must go further than this and admit that the only acceptable explanation is creation. I know that this is anathema to physicists, as indeed it is to me, but we must not reject a theory that we do not like of the experimental evidence supports it.’ — H.S. Lipson, FRS (Professor of Physics, University of Manchester, UK)
  • What do the facts say? ‘Facts do not "speak for themselves"; they are read in the light of theory. Creative thought, in science as much as in the arts, is the motor of changing opinion. Science is a quintessentially human activity, not a mechanized, robot-like accumulation of objective information, leading by laws of logic to inescapable interpretation.’ — Stephen Jay Gould (Professor of Geology and Palenotology, Harvard University)
  • “As far as geologically more recent evidence is concerned, the discovery in East Africa of apparent remains of Homo in the same early fossil sites as both gracile and robust Australopithecines has thrown open once again the question of the direct relevance of the latter to human evolution. So one is forced to conclude that there is no clear-cut scientific picture of human evolution.” — Robert D. Martin, Ph.D. "
  • Now that you see the evidence of a creator God who has a purpose for you, what if I told you that God has a "Next level of your purpose".
  • JOhn 10:10 says, "I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly." Jesus came to give you life and purpose. He wants you to not only have a life, but have a life of significance and meaning and abundance.
  • Yet there is a key. YOu must believe and surrender your life to Him. I challenge you today to give your heart to Jesus. Romans 10:9 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
  • Believe in Christ. He is the only real Person who will save you and give you a life of meaning.

    Life's origin...We do have a purpose!

I knew the universe was far too complex for evolution to be true and I have faith that God created the universe.ut then I read this article, and wow! Check this out!   http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/cfl/the-origin-of-lif

Run this race (called life) to

1 Corinthians 9:24 "Do you not know that in a race, all the runners run, but only one recieves the prize? So Run that you may obtain it.

I know for all of us, we are all running or moving trying to move forward in life to obtain something. Maybe for you, you are going throughout your daily life to earn a good education or work at your job to get a good education. Whatever your condition, you are striving for something in life.

Maybe you are striving to improve yourself physically, or master how to walk again. Maybre you are conditioning yourself for a race. Maybe you are trying to be a good spouse or father or mother.

I know, for me, I have had to discipline myself in my efforts to become a better young man and a discplined and successful young man, regardless of my physical condition. Even though I may have suffered a severe head injury and was paralyzed, had very little cognitive capabilities, I have had to daily choose to fight and discipline myself to push past the "limitations" which may have been put on me through people's words, diagnoses, or anything else which may have hindered me. I have had to not believe lies that I am considered "disabled".  I have kept this verse as a motivator for me and pushed past many "limitations" and through God's help and the my faith in Jesus Christ I have successfully arrived at Liberty UNiversity today.

Maybe you're trying to run this "race" called life, yet you feel competely unable to truly make any real accomplishments.

A long time ago, I had to realize that if I am going to have sny real success in life, I had to make many different descions that may have caused me to get out of my comfort zone or made me feel uncomfortable. There will always be situations that will arise in your life, and if you truly want to succeed and/o grow as a person you will have to face your fears.

I have had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ since I was about 6, and there is no way I would be where I am today without Christ in my life. Yes, you need to learn to push past your fears and take risks in life, but you need Christ in your life if you are going to have any real success.   Many people are completely  exhausted in life because they keep trying to strive to succeed on their own. Their is a deep emptiness in each of us, and many people will do everything they can to fill that emptiness. I challenge you to believe in Christ and trust Him as your savior. Find a local church to get connected to. We were created for a purpose, and that purpose is to have an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ, the only Person who will ever truly satisfy the emptiness that causes so many people to live their lives in misery and isolation.

Run and discipline yourself to obtain the prize

1 Corinthians 9:24 The Need for Self-Discipline ] Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
This verse has been one of the main verses that has kept me motivated throughout the past seven years. I have had this and many verses to give me strength as I journeyed from being paralyzed and at a kindergardener's reading comprehension to barely walking with a cane and struggling with small puzzles to eventually walking without assistance unsteadilly down the hallway of Carolinas medical center on my discharge day and going home still work
ing on small grade level puzzles.
Still as I came home this verse motivated me and inspired me to motivate others. I "pressed on" and gained hope though verses like PHilippians 3:14, "I press toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" and PHilippians 4;13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Christ has given me strength, healed my body, and now I am trianing for a triathlon team and working on my bachelors in health science and family studies.

Maybe you're a tbi survivor. Maybe you're a cancer survivor. Maybe you have been devastated by divorce. Maybe you have lost all hope because of  some kind of A disabillity, or maybe a death of a loved one has left you completely hopeless.

It's no coincidence you're reading this blog. God wants you to know that only through HIm, you can "Press on". YOu can "obtain the prize" and you can "Do all things thorugh Christ who strengthens you" through placing your trust and faith in Christ and what He did for you. There is hope. There is healing. You were created for a purpose, but sometimes life can be extremely difficult and cause us to loose sight of the fact that we have a purpose in this life. OUtside of
Christ, life may seem dismal and hopeless, but I assure you, once you experience the love of
God in Christ Jesus, You will never, ever be the same. God's love is so real, so tangible, and so powerful. In my own life, no doctor, nurse, psychologist, or any medication has truly been the source of my success in life.

What will you choose today? Life or death? Romans 10:13, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. Cry out to Him for help. Ask HIm for forgiveness. I assure you, He will answer. Talk with a pastor of a local church. Please, if you have any questions or want to know more aboutthe Only true, powerful Savior Jesus Christ,  Email me. qualityoflifewill374@ymail.com

Phillippia2:5,6,7 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. 6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of  God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained. But stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful  dignity, so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became man and was born human being."

I think for all of us, whether tbi survivor, or for anyone, this profound truth of humility can and should teach us the ultimate example of humility. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was and is essentially God. Yet He refused to stay in heaven in perfect splendor. Rather, he laid His life down for mankind and came to this earth to redeem HIs children. He did it because of love. He had no selfish motive, only love.
how can you respond to someone in love today? How can you lay your own agenda down today, and how can you look to meet someone else's needs today.

Maybe you have no idea what it is like to abide in the love of God. I challenge you to surrender your life to Christ in faith and belief. Email me at qualityoflifewill374@ymail.com. God is waiting with open arms to save you and welcome you into His kingdom. Romans 10:9, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"

I am about to go to Liberty University. I think its interesting that I have really had to push past a lot of different fears and labels people had placed on me to get to where I am today. 2 Timothy 1:6 says, "He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." I have had to push past many many different fears about going to Liberty. Also I have pushed past many labels people put on me. Some professionals in the medical field said I should go to a specialized university for handicapped peoples. Some said I wasn't ready for college and needed to rest. Many people today are bound up by fear and are unable to go forward in life because a medical professional or psychological professional pronounced some kind of negative diagnosis over their life.

I challenge you today to evaluate your own life. Are you walking in power? Are you walking in fear or weakness. Has somebody or a group of people told you something negative that has caused you to believe the lie that you can't overcome your circumstances?

Figure out what lies you are believing that keep you held back and come out of agreement with them.

Maybe you have no clue what it means to walk in the "power" that Christ gives His children. If this is you, I challenge you to email me before you do anything else.

In Romans 6:23, Paul said "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life."

Are you walking around with eternal life or are you walking under the weight of sin?

Romans 10:9 "That if you will believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, You will be saved."

    Locked Up

For the longest time I felt locked up. I felt locked up in my emotions, feelings, relationships, and how I conducted my daily life. I say locked up because my person was literally locked up by fear, anger, bitterness, and isolation. YOu might ask yourself, "How does the fact that you were "locked up" have anything do do with "Climbing to the next level" or "Staying in your purpose"? I will tell you.

I was locked up because I was so angry a family member for letting us go on that ill-fated trip when we were in the car wreck when I nearly lost my life. I was bitter at many of the friends who had desserted me. I was angry/bitter at the family member who pulled out in front of the semi.  I was locked up becausse I could not really flow in conversation with any of these people and thus it caused me to severely dishonor them. This negative effect caused me to have even more problems with isolation and irritability at school and with my other friends at church/school. I held on to this resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness for the longest time (probably two years). I made very few friends. I was lonely and miserable. I'm sure you have felt locked up before. Or, maybe you feel locked up now. Maybe you are like I was and can be in a room full of family members and friends, but yet you feel completely isolated, lonely, and miserable.

Well I held on to all of this resentment until I could handle it no longer. I knew I had to let it go. I prayed to God, my savior, and chose to forgive all those people I had unforgiveness to. I didn't go to therapy sessions. I forgave them, and by the power of the Holy Spirit of God I chose to release each of those individuals who had hurt me.     I prayed out loud that I choose to forgive (the person's name). And then I had to fight the lies that satan tried to get me to believe. I had to fogive the persons in my family who had not met the needs that I Had always had as a boy, teenager, and young adult. I realized I could not strive to get those needs met through other people who were unsafe for me. I forgave.

Who do you need to forgive? Are you locked up? Do you flow in xonversation with all those close people in your life you consider to be family or your friends?  Forgive.

    Face Your Fears

Eleanor Roosevelt, the great first lady and wife of the Powerful Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt said a powerful quote, "Do one thing Every day that scares you."

Wow, this is a powerful thought! Can you imagine doing something everyday that terrified you? Once you mastered some of those fears, you would become a powerful person. I don't know about you, but I have many things that scare me! Wow I can only imagine how productive, effective of a person I could become if I focused each day, on doing those things that scared me.

Take a moment and imagine with me, just how powerful of a person you could become! Each fear you have would become almost meaningless! Maybe for you its talking to new people that you are scared of. I challenge you today to embrace each day and strive to talk to at least 1-2 new people (as long as they are safe) and slowly progress to talk with more people each day. Take this same approach with every fear you have. Be courageous and do things that you never thought you would see your self doing, as long as each activity is safe for you and others. I promise, you will improve as a person!

I know for me, it wasn't until I started facing my fears that I experienced any kind of real freedom and success in life.
I know for me, I am a born again Christian, and as a child of God I have nothing to truly fear because God protects me every day. 1 Timothy 2:6 says, "He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind." Once you have been plugged into the body of Christ, God puts the Holy Spirit directly into yours, and His Spirit of Power is with you everyday!

Do you have this same Spirit of Power in You. Are you Forgiven?

    Whats holding you back

Many things in our lives are holding us back. For some of us, fear of people is holding us back. For others, anger and unforgiveness towards someone is holding us back from having a flowing relationship with that person. For others, they may be terrified of interacting with groups of people or talking to people in general.  I would say the two biggest issues that hold people back are fear and bitterness/unforgiveness towards others.                                                                                                                                                                       I know for me, this was true for the longest time. I was terrified of talking to other people. I also was very angry at certain people in my life that had hurt me. I shut myself off from talking to people and I wouldn't really communicate with the people who had hurt me. Also, those who had hurt me, I was constantly offended by things they said. I would often argue with that person and have a short temper with them. As for my fear of others, and cutting myself off from talking to other people, I was not getting any better, but I got worse and more socially isolated.

IIf you allow fear and unforgiveness and anger to control your life, you will only hurt yourself and cause yourself more pain. Fear and Unforgiveness will rule your life and people will not want to be around you.

For me, when I kept letting myself be isolated and cut off from people and I kept on allowing unforgiveness and bitterness to rule my life and dictate my actions to others, my life only got worse. I couldn't function properly and I was not a joy to be around.

Once I finally let these people go and forgave them truly I flowed better in conversation with them and was able to connect to  them genuinely, and fully.  I then decided I was not going to allow fear to dictate my life any longer. I started doing everything I was terrified of and slowly I got better at speaking to groups of people and I was able to have meaningful relationships with others, even a girl.
Dont allow fear and unforgiveness to dictate your life. Forgive others as Christ has shown us the example and walk in freedom and forgiveness. Press against every fear you have, and no matter what the cost conquer those fears. Do what I did. Start taking small steps to overcome the smallest obstacles and then progress to greater fears, and before you know it, you will have conquered every fear you have!
REPETITION is vital to winning this war against fear.
