Powerful Words

What does that mean to you..."Speaking words of power"? Those words can mean something different to each of us. Did you know that the words you speak can either lead you down the path of success or they can help in causing you to be distracted and forget the vision you have for your life.You can either speak words that will speak life and power to others or you can speak negative words which will tear others down and thus bring yourself down. Your words are just that powerful. You can either speak positive, empowering words which will lead you to a successful life in everythhing you do, or you can speak negative, critical words which will bring you down and make you loose focus of your vision. People will respect/admire you for this even though they may not show it in their actions.
          You see, in my own recovery I have realized this truth, and make every effort to speak words of power. James 3:8,9,10 says,"But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9With it we bless our God and Father and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brothers these things ought not to be so."  

I have realized that when I speak uplifting words of power and enocuragement, my day is better and people around me treat me better.

I challenge you today to speak those words which are only positive and uplifting to others. Speak those words which which will lead you to success and a life of fullness. Every great leader never susceded by speaking words of criticism and negativity. Do you want to live a life that leads to greatness? Let your words match that hope.

Maybe you can't seem to speak anything positive, but you can only think of hopeless words to speak. I'd love to talk to you about this.

Romanans 5:1 says, "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
